Targeting ad to single url

Hi,

I need to give a sponsor 100% share of voice on this page: https://flowermag.com/dog-friendly-design/ only.

I thought that I could do it with page/path targeting, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Please let me know the best way to proceed.

The way I would do it is to create a special Placement for them. In the Placement, use the following settings:

  • Name the Placement "Dog Friendly Design Page - 100 Percent Share of Voice" or similar.
  • Set the Order to a number lower than what is being used anywhere else (maybe -100). This will give the placement priority over everything else.
  • In Page Targeting > Path Targeting, set to "Only the specified paths" and enter "/dog-friendly-design/" (without the quotes) into the text box.
  • In Zone Targeting, target the Placement to the Zone where you want the ad to appear.

Now target the sponsor's ad to this Placement and it should get 100% share of voice on that page only.

Please let me know if you run into any issues.

I was able to accomplish this with Tag targeting, but hope there is a simpler way. I targeted the ad to a custom tag and then had to block all other ads from that tag...
